Our local officers have been out on patrol and will continue to be visible in your area to help keep our community safe. We’re committed to being accessible, so if you see us out and about, please feel free to approach us for a chat or to raise any concerns.

Crime Prevention Advice – Vehicle Safety

Vehicle-related crime can happen quickly, but a few simple steps can make a big difference:

Always lock your vehicle and check windows are fully closed, even if you’re only leaving it for a short time.

Remove valuables from view – bags, electronics, and even loose change can attract thieves.

Use steering locks or other security devices where possible.

Park in well-lit areas or secure car parks whenever you can.

Never leave keys in the ignition or inside the vehicle unattended.

Taking these precautions helps reduce the risk of theft from or of your vehicle.

Community Engagement

Our officers have also been spending time in the local library recently, engaging with members of the public and answering questions. If you’re visiting the library and see us there, please come and say hello – we’re here to listen and support.
